Father's day here in Australia

Being that its Father's Day this weekend the theme for today's post is Daddies.

When my brother and I were little sometimes dad would take us to work with him, he was a baker and worked night shift. It was so exciting! Up late and covered in bread dough, he'd let us kneed the bread, turn on the big machines and eat as much pastry as we could.

We all wore matching aprons, and worked the night away. When we were so tired we couldn't keep our eyes open a second more, he would send us to sleep on the bags of flour, while he finished.

He was our hero.

Any little boy or girl has one, whether it's your dad, your step-dad or a male role model. We all love a daddy.

Over the past month Matt has reminded me more than once, Father's day was approaching,  In Australia father's day is not celebrated until the first Sunday of September.

Father's Day is an occasion Fathers secretly wait for all year long. Every daddy enjoys being spoilt. Breakfast in bed and hand made presents are all part of the fun.

Since my little Harper is not up to writing a post to tell you how amazing his daddy is, I decided I'd help him out.

Harper your Daddy is...

Funny and talented and smart beyond words. He's hard working, generous and has a kind heart. He loves you more than you'll ever know, he wants you to want for nothing and works as hard as he can to provide for us.

Your as lucky to have him as he is to have you.

Happy Father's Day, To an amazing husband and an even better dad. We love you. xoxox
